PlayfulProcess is born as an independent website powered by Ghost — a clean, modern platform built for creators who want clarity, control, and creative freedom.
Why the Move?
Substack was a great starting point, but it’s become a bit too noisy for the kind of grounded, reflective work I want to share. Its focus on monetization doesn’t align with where I’m at right now. I want everything I publish to be free and open, supported instead through other avenues — creative projects, consulting, perhaps a corporate role, and eventually, therapy work once I earn my LCSW.
Why Ghost?
Ghost is open-source, publisher-focused, and free from algorithmic clutter. It gives me full creative control and a calm, distraction-free home for my writing and tools.
Why the New Name?
I originally published under Life is Process, but the domain was taken. So I renamed the site PlayfulProcess — and honestly, I love it even more. It captures the spirit of creativity, experimentation, and depth I want to bring to my work now — and it feels like the perfect name for when I launch myself as a licensed therapist in a few years.
If you're a writer or creator feeling boxed in by hosted platforms, or just want more sovereignty over your work, Ghost is worth exploring.
